Every marriage proposal is unique, because every couple is unique. The following questionnaire will help us get an idea of what your vision is, and what you may be interested in hiring us for. We can help you with as much or as little of the proposal as you'd like, ranging from choosing the theme, location, and setup for you, to letting you pick every last detail.
Once you've submitted the form, we will email you within 48 hours to schedule a phone call or online meet. This meeting is completely free and is meant for us to get to know each other, and to see if we will be a good fit for how you want your engagement to play out. This moment is as special to us as it is to you, and we want to do everything we can to make it perfect!

1) Rustic and Warm
This theme features darker, more rustic colours with any combination of burgundy, browns, dark orange, and navy. It’s perfect for a romantic proposal with its vintage flair, especially in the fall seasons or up in the mountains.
3) Pretty in Pink
This cream, pink, and gold theme pulls in natural elements with layered textiles to create a relaxing bright environment. This is great for a summer proposal paired with a picnic for two! Its elegance and simplicity will be the perfect backdrop for the most romantic proposal ever! PS. ask us for our sunset time slot!
2) Winter Wonderland
This theme was created for the cold months where the sun sets early and the white snow covers the ground. The candles, light up MARRY ME letters, fairy lights and rose petals is what makes this our most romantic. To cold outside? Ask us how we can set up inside! Yes, we can set up in Airbnbs and even make a trip to the mountains to make it even more special!

7. Cancellation policy
After receiving your phone/video consultation, and after approving the details of your unique proposal package, we require a $300 non-refundable deposit to secure your date and time. This is payable through e-Transfer to yycpicnics@gmail.com. The remaining balance is due 48 hours prior to the date of the proposal, delivered using the same method. Should you have to reschedule or change details, an alternative date must be selected and approved at least 24 hours before the original scheduled proposal date and time. The deposit will be transferred to the new selected proposal date (scheduled up to 6 months after the original date) but is not refundable should you cancel completely. Rescheduling reasons can include personal reasons, medical reasons, family emergencies, and the weather, but all must be communicated at least 24 hours prior to the proposal date and time. Please note most of our setups can be moved indoors or beneath a soft top gazebo. If there are any interruptions during your proposal and/or picnic, (including weather, personal reason, external factors etc.), all payment is non-refundable. If you want to leave the set up before your scheduled end time, please notify a picnic crew member (virtually or in person) 15 minutes prior to leaving. Refunds will not be given on unused extra time, food, or games.
